Callaway Gardens Fitness Series-Duathon and 5k

Sunday, May 11, 2014

The Callaway Gardens Duathlon, now in its 16th year, consists of a 5K run, a 30K bike and a 5K run. Many competitors use it as a "test run" for the Callaway Gardens Sprint Triathlon, held on Sunday, June 15, 2014. The first 5K run is counter-clockwise around Robin Lake Circle, a flat and fast course. The bike portion follows Robin Lake Circle, Mountain View Drive, Discovery Parkway and Scenic Drive, all surrounded by the woodland beauty of Callaway Gardens. The finishing run follows the same course as the first run, but in the opposite direction.

Not up for the full Duathlon? A separate 5K run begins at 7:50 a.m. and follows the fast counter-clockwise course around Robin Lake Circle.
