Easter Egg Hunts

Noon-5 p.m.

Grab your basket and come to Robin Lake Beach, where we’ll stage an epic hunt for candy and prize eggs for all ages. Hunts take place by age group (see below) and the Easter Bunny will be on hand to pose for pictures. There will also be face painting as well as a DJ providing entertainment throughout the event. Hunts will be begin at 1 p.m. and divided by the following age categories:

  • Toddlers to 3-year-olds
  • Dedicated sections for 4- to 5-year-olds; 6 to 8-year-olds; 9- to 11-year-olds
  • 12 to 18-year-olds and Parents/Seniors

Easter Sunrise Service

7 a.m.

Begin Easter Sunday with a non-denominational sunrise service led by Chris Patton, Christian author and president of Mike Patton Auto Group, overlooking Robin Lake under the Ski Pavilion.  Callaway Gardens' natural beauty serves as a fitting backdrop for this special time of worship and remembrance. Admission is free prior to 8 a.m. Guests should enter through the Beach gate on U.S. Hwy. 27 and proceed to the parking lot on the opposite side of the entrance..  Please note that this service is traditionally broadcast live on 93.3 The JOY FM for one hour and therefore starts and ends promptly at the stated time.  The morning temperatures can be chilly.  Be sure to dress for the weather.  And, the service is often standing-room only.  Some guests come prepared with portable chairs.

Symphony on the Sand

Gate opens at 5 p.m.; concert begins at 8 p.m.

“Amazing” describes the experience of sitting on the shores of Robin Lake enjoying ASO’s music under the stars on a Spring night.  Mark your calendar to be at the annual concert at Callaway Gardens. Ensure you have the perfect seat by purchasing a stage-front, beach table in advance. This Callaway Gardens tradition features the award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performing under the stars on Robin Lake Beach. Enhance your night with gourmet food baskets and seasonal flower arrangements from the Gardens.

Proceeds from Symphony on the Sand benefit the not-for-profit Ida Cason Callaway Foundation in its mission to offer fine arts, educational and horticultural programs.
