Pumpkin Campfire

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Join us next to the campfire for stories and games celebrating  harvest time. Bring a carved pumpkin and enter it in the contest.  Awards for pumpkin carving and campsite decorating.  Meet at campground amphitheater below Lake Delanor dam. Bring a marshmallow stick and  flashlight.

Dutch Oven

Join instructor Leslie Risinger and discover simple, tasty basics of Dutch oven cooking over charcoal. Learn how to convert favorite recipes. Sample tasting. Must pre-register and pay at park office. BYOB Bring your own bowl. $10 per person. Meets at Picnic Shelter #2 below Lake Delanor Dam in campground.

Campground Candy Bingo

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Wear your costume. Win candy and prizes as you play the campground themed game. $3 fee for each bingo card. Meet at the shelter next to the Trading Post in the campground.

The Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens

A Callaway Gardens tradition on the first Saturday of every November, the Steeplechase features thoroughbreds racing through woodland surroundings, plus pony rides, a foxhound parade, a hat contest and much more. Steeplechase beneficiaries include the non-profit Ida Cason Callaway Foundation and its mission of environmental conservation, education and land stewardship.
