National Infantry Museum

The museum houses one of the most complete collections of military weapons and small arms in the country as well as uniforms and personal equipment of the U.S. Infantrymen.

The official State Theatre of Georgia, this historic grand opera house now sits as a working theatre restored to its 1871 splendor. Guided tours available by appointment throughout the year.

Located in Uptown Columbus and developed as an integral part of the community's riverfront development plan, Columbus State University's, Coca-Cola Space Science Center houses a Challenger Learning Center (for simulated space missions); the Omnisphere Theater, a 110-seat state of the art planetarium featuring astronomy based educational presentations and musical Laser Concerts; and a Solar Observatory for viewing our closest Star, The Sun.

Nearly 40,000 sq feet of Civil War naval history including the two original Confederate navy warships recovered from the Chattahoochee River in the early 1960's.
