This season is filled with activities that help guests of all ages enjoy summer's sunny days. Swimming, miniature train rides, miniature golf, and circus performances are just the beginning of the fun. (Circus closes August 7.)

Letters to Eleanor
July 4, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
During this interactive New Deal program, Eleanor Roosevelt and her secretary will respond to requests for relief during the Great Depression. Twenty-minute programs begin at 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. $4-$7.

Little White House - Warm Springs

Jr. Ranger Program at Camp Roosevelt
July 7-9 & 21-23, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
For children ages 9-12. Historical, environmental and recreational education and activities are on the program in this 3 day camp beginning at Roosevelt's Little White House. One day at Little White House, one day at the National Fish Hatchery and one day at FD Roosevelt State Park. $40 per 3-day camp.

Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival
September 4 - 6
End the summer with this colorful weekend festival highlighted by a balloon glow, flights, activities, demonstrations and exhibits.

Swim the Warm Springs
September 5 - 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Swim in the historic pools originally built by Franklin D. Roosevelt as a place for therapy. Normally kept empty for preservation, the pools will be filled with naturally warm spring water. 1 1/2-hour swim sessions begin at 10 a.m. Ages 6 and older. Reservations suggested but not required. $15 adults, $10 ages 6 to 17.

Market Garden

Kelly's Zeroes' living history program will feature displays and exhibits regarding Operation Market Garden, the largest airborne operation in history. Living conditions "On the Home Front" will highlight the role of the homemaker during WWII. $4-$7.

The Roosevelt Regatta
October 3, 12-4 p.m.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt was America's sailor in the White House and he loved all things nautical. We will host a model sailboat regatta at Lake Delanor inside F.D. Roosevelt State Park for an afternoon of sailing with model boats, living history with FDR, knot-tying demonstrations, compass reading and more. $4-$7.

Preserving Our Past: Georgia Archives Day
October 10, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Hands-on exhibits and displays with staff describing various methods, techniques and equipment to stabilize and preserve our artifacts. $3 parking fee at FDR Park.

Stamp Collecting For Kids
October 24, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
October is National Stamp Collecting Month and FDR was America's stamp-collecting president. Hands-on activities for children are offered throughout the day. $4-$7.

The Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens
November 7
Known as the "event of the season," and always falling on the first Saturday in November, Steeplechase brings family and friends together to watch thoroughbred horses race over timber and brush hurdles in the beautiful rolling hills of Callaway Gardens, highlighted by the beauty of autumn.

Annual Fala Day Tribute
November 7
Join the Greater Atlanta Scottish Terrier Association for an opening parade, costume parade, grooming exhibits and bagpipe music. All Scotty dogs welcome on a six-foot leash. Free admission to the program held in the picnic area. $4-$7.

The Callaway Fitness Series ends with a 10k run on the 7th and a mountain bike race on the 8th.

FDR and Eleanor will be serenaded by descendants of Bun Wright, FDR's favorite fiddler, in this Living history program on the sundeck of the Little White House. $4-$7.

Fantasy In Lights

This dazzling ride-through show features larger-than-life lighted holiday scenes and music. Millions of gleaming lights bring the wonder of the Christmas season to life. A heated Christmas Village with Santa Claus, crafts, food and much more increases the joy.

Pearl Harbor Remembered

We will not forget those who served our country during WWII. Spend time with survivors of Pearl Harbor and hear their extraordinary stories.
